Very Good

The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed - extending our stay, organizing laundry, etc. We got a free room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. Moreover, the free breakfast in the restaurant was tasty (I recommend the burrito).

Even though we got a room upgrade, our room was very humid and a bit old. We had a mouldy bathroom but still clean. The water in the shower was a bit salty.

Really enjoyable can’t fault the hotel and hospitality

Rooms were clean with a large bed Close to a nice pool with plenty of lounge beds with cover The breakfast was the best on table we have had with a varied menu included in the price Staff were very helpful and friendly We were given a free room upgrade

Nothing really only a small walk to the beach access was wet to us it was not a problem

Very good for short-term stay

Very friendly staff, gave recommendations for bikes and boat tickets and everything. The location is perfect, short walk from the harbour, close to the night market and many restaurants and bars. Bike parking in front of the hotel, water dispenser available and yummy breakfast. I also liked style of the building.

The rooms were on the smaller side, also there weren't any surfaces to place things. E.g. board in bathroom to put toiletry bag.

I enjoyed my stay here as I said it is the staff that make it so great

The staff are what makes staying here so pleasant. Location is good also .. walkable from the Main Street to fast boat, restaurants, shopping , etc. The breakfast that came with the room was really nice. Pizza was good here too.

Noisey. Paper thin walls. Not enough hot water to have a proper shower.

Quite a bad smell coming from the toilet in the room, might’ve just been in our room though (room 9)

Room was clean with comfortable bed. Great location and friendly staff. We really enjoyed fresh a la carte breakfast every day with different options. Nice pool.

Nice! Would stay again

Lovely staff, cool pool. Room was quite big. They quickly made it into a twin on request. They also let us stay another night last minute! Breakfast was good - could choose from a menu of options which was nice. Bike hire from them was great too - cheap and v comfy bikes! And very convenient to have it literally at the hotel.

The rooms are a little run down but can’t complain at this price point

Very Good

Clean, comfortable bed and room. A lot of the places were not as clean so I liked how spaces and clean they kept the place.

The pool was not as clean. My room(16) was next to some sort of boiler and made a lot of noise throughout the time I was there. Breakfast is basic but I noticed that the food quality was the same on the island.

We had a lovely stay at Gili Amor and would recommend it anyone with a family.

Close to the beach, had great resto attracted with cheap yummy food. Staff was lovely.

Ants in the beds, tried charging us for a glass broken in the resto. Ran out of jack daniels ????

Nice stay

Lovely hotel, looks beautiful. Just like the pictures. Nice staff, VERY good breakfast. When arriving you’ll get a wet towel and a welcoming drink. Cocktails were cheap and nice.

There was a huge cockroach in the room. When arriving there was chips and drinks in the fridge. It was not indicated that is costs money, so we had to pay a huge bill when we checked out. Bathroom is very old and not very clean. Must be renovated.

Lovely

I lived 5 nights in room 5 with my wife and kid 6 years old. Location pretty convenient, even if one of you can't ride bicycle. It was possible to reach most of attractions by walk (max distance to sunset side of the island up to 20 minutes walk). However, you can rent any kind of bike right near the hotel by 50K. Stuff was pretty responsive, with a little bit chill as everyone on Gilis. Breakfast was good, with simple, but satisfying options. "Full breakfast" is the great! Swimming pool was little bit cold, but clean and nice with a plenty of seats around, including two big wooden chairs bound to this room. All days was quite calm and silent. No roosters and night parties around. Swimming pool is closing at 10 p.m. Even muslim prayers at 5 a.m. weren't so annoying. Room was spacious and cleaning service was always on duty. Windows view right to the pool, but curtains were enought to cover all sensitive areas of the room. Two cats live on this area, so be ready for milk lovers guests. Want to highlight sofa - with 45 degrees setup you can sit like a boss. Children friendly.

Strong smell in a bathroom at start. Fortunately, disappeared after ventillation and air extraction. TV didn't work and repair service was expected two weeks later. Fortunately, problem was in RC batteries only. Table was filled with chips and fridge was filled was beer and soft drinks (not for free). Everything were removed in a few minutes after complain. Floor was a little bit dirty at the beginning, but was cleared well after awhile. Mirror in the bathroom is covered in streaks. I believe it could be cleaned, but we didn't complain. Very spicy carbonara in the cafe, but was replaced with much less spicy version after complain for free. Be ready to wait breakfast cooking for 15-20 minutes if there are a lot of guests in the morning.

Cold towels and complimentary cold drinks at the reception made the best impression considering their affordable rate. They also had quite various breakfast menu

The AC in our room leaked and resulted in a puddle, but then the staff was so responsive to fix it right away. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest but it could be easily overlooked.

Good first stay in Gili Trawangan

Loved the breakfast and the room service provided! Gili Trawangan was our favourite stay ever. The toilet could be improved but we loved the place.

The bathroom could be renovated. The floors were really slippery without a mat, slipped and fell. The television did not work AT ALL. Was pretty funny but we didn’t really care. However, the electricity kept blacking out. One night, it blacked out 10 times in the same hour.
